Logosynthesis

I usually prefer to start with Energy Breaths and end with Energy Breaths when doing Logosynthesis with my patients.  I also prefer to do the process twice, before moving on to another problem.

Determine what problem you want to work on.   Options include troubling emotions, thoughts, beliefs, images, and troubling emotions and thoughts about the future (negative fantasies).   You may want to start with the issue that’s most noticeable, then after you release this issue, you’ll become more aware of secondary and tertiary issues.

Come up with a very short phrase that characterizes what it is that you’d like to release or heal.

Some examples:

  • Shame about the mess in my home
  • Fear I’ll never get better
  • anger at my father for hitting me
  • fear I’ll get fired
  • Image of the car appearing out of  nowhere and hitting my car from the right.

You then use the following three sentences to call back your own energy that you’ve invested in this issue and remove energy that’s connected to the issue that doesn’t even belong to you (“non-me energy”).   You say the sentence, inserting the phrase you developed, then pause for several moments to let your words do their work.  There is nothing to do at this point but observe.  Then move on to the next sentence.

Once you’ve gone through all the sentences, notice what you’re feeling and thinking.   Having released the issue that’s on the surface, you may then notice a related feeling that you can now sense because the first issue has been healed.  Keep working through what comes up until you have a feeling of neutrality.

Here are the sentences:

  1. “I now retrieve all of my energy bound up in the/this (feeling/belief/negative fantasy about ....X) and I bring this energy back to the rightful place within myself.”

  2. “I now remove all non-me energy bound up in the/this (same issue as first sentence), I remove this non-me energy from all of my body, being, and personal space, and I send this energy back to where it truly belongs.”

  3. “I now retrieve all of my energy bound up in all of my reactions to the/this (same issue as first sentence) and I bring this energy back to the rightful place within myself.”

Some examples for the first sentence:

"I now retrieve all of my energy bound up in the fear that I’ll never find a job and I’ll be homeless and I bring this energy back to the rightful place within myself.”

“I now retrieve all of my energy bound up in the image of my father screaming at me and I bring this energy back to the rightful place within myself.”

“I now retrieve all of my energy bound up in the belief that I don’t deserve to have money and I bring this energy back to the rightful place within myself.”

Second sentence example:

“I now  remove all non-me energy bound up in the image of my father screaming at me and I send  this energy back to where it truly belongs.”

Third sentence example:

“I now retrieve all of my energy bound up in all of my reactions to the persistent thought that I’m going to lose my job and I bring this energy back to the rightful place within myself.”
