Genes are not like words carved in stone. They are fluid and are influenced by our thoughts, social settings, traumas, and nutritional status. Factors that influence the expression of genetic activity are "epigenetic" in their effects.

Lately, I've been applying energy medicine techniques on genetic information. From an energy medicine perspective, energy is information and the genes make up a library of information that opens and closes to deliver the necessary data for managing the day to day activities within a cell.

The first thing I observed when I began using energy medicine in 2002 was the connection between shifts in energy and subsequent shifts in biology. In order for biology to shift, the genes must also be involved in the adjustments and changes that occur.

I have gone on to integrate the clearing of "blockages" in the genetic library associated with traumas experienced by our ancestors and inherited in our genes. I think of these blockages as possible underlying causes for distorted, dysfunctional, or missing enzymes. Without proper enzymes to do cellular work, toxins and metabolites can accumulate, especially during stressful times, resulting in vulnerability for various symptoms such as depression, mania, or psychosis.

I don't expect you to believe me. Instead, I hope that you will be curious at how energy medicine techniques (which cost nothing) can enhance physical healing. Let me show you what I'm doing and give you a peek at the cutting edge of holistic psychiatry!

The Epigenetics of Energy Medicine
Intentions’ effects on genes

Meredith, a 62 y.o. patient, was so anxious she looked like she was trembling like a leaf as she talked. Tears poured down her face as she described how anxious she felt. She also shared that she and her family were devout Jews, with a Jewish lineage that stretched back for several generations. Her ancestors suffered greatly during WWII when they were involved in the Holocaust. She had been taking Zoloft and Klonopin for the past 25 years, and from the looks of her, the medications seemed to have run out of steam.

In addition to a foundational regimen of vitamins and minerals, I started her on SeroPlus, a supplement that would help her build more serotonin, as well as homeopathic serotonin. For GABA support, I asked her to use liposomal GABA oral sprays throughout the day. I also did some energy work to shift her negative energetic reaction to both her medications. Then, I decided to use the Empower Energy Technique (EET) and Logosynthesis to heal blockages in her genes that may be associated with anxiety, a new approach that I had not done before.

I've been thinking of how traumas and genetics are connected together in the following way: traumas => blockages in energy => recorded in genes as blocked information => altered information in the genetic library => inherited by the next generation => dysfunctional or missing enzymes in the next generation => vulnerability to stress => specific disorders.

See below for Meredith's course of treatment:

On April 10, 2019, we did Logosynthesis on this problem to help reduce her anxiety: generational worries about loved ones' health that are held in my genes.

On April 24, 2019, we did EET on this problem to decrease her guilt: completely forgive myself for harmful or neglectful deeds committed by me or my ancestors held in my genes.

On May 16, 2019, we did both EET + Logosynthesis on these problems and in this fashion:

I now choose to align myself with Life Energy and be empowered to run the Logosynthesis process on:

1. Any negative consequences, blockages, dysfunctions, and deficiencies in energy and information associated with deprivation, starvation, food rationing, and nutritional scarcity inherited from my ancestors and held in my genes.

2. Any negative consequences, blockages, dysfunctions, and deficiencies in energy and information associated with difficulty with letting go of, clearing, or releasing unhelpful objects, waste, emotions, thoughts, or traumas inherited from my ancestors and held in my genes.

3. Any negative consequences in energy and information due to negative experiences, losses, or traumas that led to feeling undeserving, guilty, and increased self-hatred inherited from my ancestors and held in my genes

Meredith started her treatment on April 2, 2019 with frequent panic attacks, and by her third session on April 23, 2019, she was free from panic attacks. By May 7, 2019, my progress notes recorded her saying, " 'The crisis has passed.' She feels that she’s back to her 'imperfect self.' ”

Although her recovery would not have been possible without the support given to her serotonin and GABA nervous system, it's highly unusual for this level of severity and chronicity of suffering to resolve so quickly (even in my practice), and I attribute the magnitude and speed of her recovery to the energy medicine support she received.

Subsequent sessions continued to focus both on her immediate stressors as well as stressors held in her genes that she may have inherited. Energy testing before and after the intervention showed a marked improvement in strength when she tuned into the trauma or stressor being worked on.

For directions on how to apply the EET + Logosynthesis approach, please see the new section on my website, entitled "EET + Logosynthesis" in which a genetic problem is used as an example to illustrate how to address traumas held in our genes.

During her session, Meredith noticed that when she used this approach to address genetically held traumas, she would feel an intense need to cry. As soon as the technique was done, her crying stopped. Perhaps these techniques are associated with some "release" of energy that the patient is able to experience at the emotional level. Others have reported a tingling feeling flowing all over their body. Some patients would feel energy flowing when they use this technique for healing.

Generally, I have observed that shifts toward an improved state of health for my patients have been more powerful and effective since I began to approach genetic information more directly. Of course, there is much more to learn about how energy medicine, using intentions, heal genetic information. I hope, however, that my positive results may encourage you to try this approach in healing traumas as well.
